This Privacy Policy applies to Rooted One, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (the "Company"), and governs data collection and usage across the Company's website (the "Site") and mobile application called "One" (the "App") (collectively, the "Platform"). By using or accessing the Platform, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. A. Collection of Your Personal Information The Company may collect your personally identifiable information ("PII") when you access the Platform, including but not limited to your name, address, phone number, and email address, in order to improve its services and enhance user experience. If you make a payment through the Platform, the Platform will collect billing information to complete the transaction. All collection of PII shall be in compliance with data protection laws and will be conducted solely to improve the Platform and the customer experience. No information collected by the Company will be used for sales or profit. The Company does not collect any information about you unless you voluntarily provide it. The Company utilizes AI-driven tools to analyze data to enhance customer experience, always prioritizing security and ethical standards. B. Use of Your Personal Information The Company will use the PII it collects from you to operate and improve the Platform and to inform you of special events, updates, and other endeavors. The Company shall retain PII only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined herein, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. C. Security of Your Personal Information The Company strives to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information, including PII and personal health information ("PHI"). When such information is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through encryption such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. Tracking User Behavior The Company may keep track of the specific programs and pages accessed by users to determine which services are most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content within the Platform. G. Automatically Collected Information Information about your device and software may be automatically collected, including your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times, and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the Company's services and to provide general statistics. It is generally used in the aggregate and does not personally identify individual users unless combined with PII. H. Use of Cookies The Platform may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. If you choose to decline cookies, some features may not work as expected, but you will still be able to access core functionality. I. J. Under the Age of Eighteen The Company never knowingly collects personal information from individuals under the age of eighteen (18). If it is discovered that the Company has inadvertently collected such information, the Company shall promptly delete it. K. Email Communications From time to time, the Company may contact you via email for announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and other general communication. If you would like to stop receiving marketing communications, you may opt out via an email link. L. External Data Storage Sites The Company may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom the Company has contracted. M. Changes to the Privacy Policy The Company reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will notify you about significant changes by sending a notice to your primary email address or placing notice on the Platform. The Platform was and continues to be developed with a deep sense of responsibility to honor diverse experiences, particularly in serving and supporting Black communities and other underserved populations. Account and Data Deletion You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time: (1) from inside the app via Profile > menu > Delete Account, (2) online at onewellness.tech/delete-account, or (3) by emailing Sharde@rooted-one.com with the subject "Delete my account". Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Certain payment records may be retained where required by law.
